Default Preventing Alt-Tab in full screen mode

I have my vent push-to-talk key set to the left Alt key. However, occasionally when I'm cycling through enemies I don't release the Alt key and minimize the screen which can be frustrating during GvG matches.

Is there a way of preventing Alt-Tab from working when the game is in full screen mode?

EDIT: My solution: I changed the PTT key to Right Alt and used AutoHotkey to remap Left Alt to Right Alt when the Guild Wars window is in the foreground and then going to Options and assigning "Targeting: Show Others" to Right Alt.

ROFL, an Alliance friend had his set to ALT as well. Not a bright idea. He also uses F1 thru F4 to switch weapon sets constantly. Poor guy kept disconnecting on our UW clears and he had no idea why.

I've tried experimenting with different keys but I haven't found them to be as satisfactory as using left Alt. I'm considering changing targeting to Caps Lock.

I found this thread which is basically asking the same question however, I am no programmer and have absolutely no idea about how I would go about doing what is detailed in the answer. If somebody could make that application and post it somewhere that would be greatly appreciated.

I used to use Caps-Lock for Vent, which only had the negative effect of having me type in all Caps sometimes - I had to keep telling people that I wasn't shouting. Nowadays I have one of my keyboard's programmable keys set to whatever button I want.

As far as I know, Alt-Tab is basically built into the OS and can't be changed - at least not easily. And considering all the other Alt functions you could run into (see TheRaven above), it's probably best to switch to some other talk key (in spite of the time it would take to learn to use the new key).

You know, you'd think that, by now, so called "gaming" keyboards would always come with 1 or 2 programmable and conveniently placed dedicated "Talk" buttons. (Are you listening Logitech?)

Logitech has already listened and the system is already there. All Gaming range Keyboards from Logitech (G11-G510 range fro example) have Programeable keys on the left side of the regular Keyboard (Other KB_Manufacturers also have gaming Keyboards witzh programeable keys as well). If you set up the bottom right G-Key (lowest one and closest one to the normal Keyboard) to the Vent PTT trigger, then you can easily press it with the outer shaft of the hand while using the fingers normally on the keyboard while talking.

Use middle mouse wheel and play like a teenage mutant ninja turtle like the 1337 do...

I'm using a G19 keyboard and I have keys (as I said in my post) assigned to PTT (G5 & G11). You missed the word "dedicated" - which is to say a key that is marked "Talk" or "PTT", and is preferably double size like Shift or Enter (or in some other manor easily distinguished and used).

This would ofc, apply more to keyboards without a full set of programmable keys - that is, keyboards other than the G15/G19 series. Or perhaps, if you took a standard G15/G19 and you replaced G4 & G10 with a single double-wide PTT key. (or maybe even just supply it with a double-wide PTT keytop which you could place over any G-key pair.)

Btw, I forgot to mention last time - If the PTT talk function becomes too awkward, one can always use Voice Activated instead of PTT, although that has it's own problems.

I had thought of this but I prefer the reliability of knowing that I will transmit if I use to PTT and also I've been in vent with people not using PTT and had to listen to 28 minutes of heavy breathing which I wouldn't want to burden my team with.
